Al Hilal’s trip to Al-Qadsiah in the Roshn Saudi League is on Friday, and the club say preparations are under way. Al-Qadsiah vs Al-Hilal is the eleventh round of the league season. It will be played at the Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, according to Al Hilal’s official website.
Al-Qadsiah vs Al-Hilal: training after the Al-Hazem win
Al Hilal’s first team resumed training on Tuesday evening at Almajdiah Sport Hub. This followed their 1-0 victory over Al-Hazem in the Roshn Saudi League, the club said.
Players who started that match did a recovery session in the gym. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad went through fitness and technical drills. The session finished with a practice game led by head coach Simone Inzaghi.
What the club has said about the game
The club said the team would continue its preparations on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s game. Al Hilal have not announced any injury news or a team selection for the trip to Dammam. As a result, there is nothing official yet on who will start.
Kick-off time is not covered in the club’s training report, so check Al Hilal’s fixtures page for the confirmed time. For more on the team’s recent games, see our Al-Hilal 1-0 Al-Hazem report, the Al-Hazem preview and our look at Ollie Watkins’ goal involvements.
Al-Qadsiah vs Al-Hilal: squad plans a Doha trip
Update, 22 October: Saudi newspaper Al-Jazirah (Tareq Al-Aboudi) reports that Al Hilal have changed the squad’s travel plans. According to the paper, the team will stay in Dammam after Friday’s game against Al-Qadsiah instead of returning to Riyadh. It says they will then travel to the Qatari capital, Doha, on Saturday to prepare for Monday’s AFC Champions League Elite game against Al-Shamal, the third round of that competition.
The paper also says head coach Simone Inzaghi kept training going this week, with a recovery-focused session on Tuesday evening and a more technical session on Wednesday. Al Hilal’s own training report, linked above, confirms the Tuesday session. We have not seen the travel plans on the club’s website, so treat them as Al-Jazirah’s report.
