Kingdom Arena attendance passed 22,800 on Saturday, Al Hilal say, as ticket sales reached their highest level of the current season.

The update comes from the club’s own review of the fan experience around the match. Al Hilal also report a 70 per cent increase in season-ticket holders compared with last season.

Kingdom Arena attendance drives season-high sales

The club says the Al Ittihad fixture produced the season’s highest ticket sales. That is a claim about the current campaign, not an all-time stadium attendance record.

Al Hilal also say their official stores at the arena recorded their highest sales of the season. The statement does not provide a revenue total for either tickets or merchandise.

Fan zone opened two hours before the match

The Kingdom Arena attendance figure came with a wider fan programme. According to the club, supporters could take part in more than 25 events and activities in the fan zone. Those included partner-led interactive experiences, food and drink options and entertainment.

The activities began two hours before kick-off and continued with initiatives inside the stadium. Al Hilal’s review also describes blue flags, a tifo and sustained support from the stands.

A celebration for Saudi Arabia’s Gulf Cup-winning national team formed part of the pre-match programme.

Season-ticket numbers rise at Al Hilal

Beyond Kingdom Arena attendance, Al Hilal report that season-ticket holders increased by 70 per cent compared with the previous season. The update does not supply the underlying totals, so the percentage should remain clearly attributed to the club.

The statement also describes benefits in the Attendance Rewards Program. Those include a 48-hour ticket-purchase priority window, exclusive offers and a player-meeting draw for supporters who attended the five home matches up to and including Al Ittihad.

Supporters should check the club’s current programme terms when using those benefits. The announcement describes the scheme but does not confirm an individual fan’s eligibility.
