Al-Hilal v Al-Fateh takes place at Kingdom Arena on Saturday 31 October. The Saudi Pro League match kicks off at 9pm in Riyadh, or 6pm GMT for UK supporters.

Simone Inzaghi’s squad resumed training on Thursday after a one-day rest following the AFC Champions League Elite trip to Al-Shamal. Preparations have now turned to the home league fixture.

Al-Hilal v Al-Fateh kick-off and venue

The club’s official fixture list confirms Kingdom Arena as the venue and gives the start time as 21:00 on 31 October. Riyadh is three hours ahead of London on that date.

The fixture follows Al-Hilal’s continental trip to Qatar and comes before the league visit to Al-Ettifaq on 7 November. Dates and times on the club’s fixture list remain subject to change.

Training resumes before Al-Fateh

The club’s Thursday report says the session at Almajdiah Sport Hub began with fitness exercises. Players then moved into technical and tactical work before ending with a practice game on part of the pitch.

Inzaghi awaits fitness assessment on three players

In the club’s Friday press-conference report, Inzaghi said the participation of Mohammed Mahzari, Sergej Savic and Ruben Neves would be determined after their readiness was assessed in that evening’s training session.

The update leaves their involvement against Al-Fateh pending that assessment. It does not confirm that any of the three will play or that they have been ruled out.

Martinelli continues rehabilitation

Gabriel Martinelli received treatment in the medical clinic at Almajdiah Sport Hub on Thursday. The club said examinations showed he needed a treatment and rehabilitation programme of 10 to 15 days for a hamstring injury.

That estimate does not set a confirmed return date for the forward. Our Martinelli injury report covers the club’s announcement.

For Al-Hilal v Al-Fateh, the latest club update leaves three participation decisions subject to the Friday training assessment, while Martinelli continues his treatment programme.
