Al-Hilal are scheduled to return to training on Saturday, 14 November, after Simone Inzaghi gave his players a ten-day break following their win over Shabab Al-Ahli.

The club’s 3 November update set the restart at Almajdiah Sport Hub. The break began on Wednesday, 4 November, after a 2-0 victory at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

The announced return date gives the squad a clear restart point during the November pause. It is the club’s published plan, rather than confirmation that every player will be available when training resumes.

Inzaghi said after the Shabab Al-Ahli match that he wanted to use the break to prepare for the next games. He also hoped injured players would recover before competition resumed.

In the club’s post-match press conference report, he named Salem Al-Dawsari, Gabriel Martinelli and Crysencio Summerville among the absences his side had been managing. Those comments were made on 3 November and do not establish their current fitness.

Watkins double secured victory before the break

Ollie Watkins scored both goals against Shabab Al-Ahli, finding the net in the sixth and 46th minutes. The victory came in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Inzaghi praised his players for taking control against opponents who had won their opening three matches in the tournament. He said a crowded schedule across competitions had prompted changes to his line-up.

Watkins was also pleased with the result before the pause. In the club’s report, he said: “We played an excellent match against a strong opponent and managed to secure an important win before the break.”

For Al-Hilal, the next step in the announced schedule is the 14 November training return. Any later change to that plan, or update on an injured player’s availability, will need a fresh club statement.
