Kingdom Arena in Riyadh is Al Hilal’s home ground. It is a modern indoor venue, newer than most of the club’s history, and it also hosts concerts and other events. Here is what we know about it, with sources. New to the club? Start with our fan’s guide to Al Hilal.

What Kingdom Arena is
The club’s own page describes the venue as an indoor arena in Riyadh’s largest entertainment district. It holds more than 26,000 fans, and the General Entertainment Authority supplied the engineering. The National reported the same capacity in January 2024, and placed the arena in the Hittin neighbourhood.
Some places quote about 28,000, for example older descriptions of the design capacity on Wikipedia. We use 26,000 because the club and The National both give it.
First football match at Kingdom Arena
The National reported a packed house for Al Hilal against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in the Riyadh Season Cup. A Saudi League report called that the first match at the ground. Wikipedia’s listing says the site carried the name Boulevard Hall in 2023, before its current name.
Who runs the venue
Wikipedia lists the General Entertainment Authority as owner and operator of Kingdom Arena. The Al-Hilal Company runs it only for the club’s football matches. Check the official sites before you plan a trip, because ticketing can change.
Visiting the arena
For a Kingdom Arena trip, Visit Saudi has an official listing. The club and its official channels sell tickets for Al Hilal matches, so follow them for each fixture. Fans often ask about the atmosphere in a smaller indoor ground compared with a big open-air stadium, so tell us what you think in the poll below.
Would you rather see Al Hilal at Kingdom Arena or a bigger open-air stadium?
