Editorial policy
Al Hilal News aims to publish accurate, clearly sourced and useful football coverage. This page explains the standards our editorial team follows.
Accuracy and sourcing
- We use verifiable sources such as club statements, official competition bodies, press conferences and established news outlets.
- We name the source of each claim and link to it where we can.
- We separate confirmed facts from reports, rumours and claims, and we use wording that shows which is which.
- We do not publish a story as fact when the source describes it as a possibility.
Original work
We write our own articles. We quote short passages with attribution and do not copy other publishers’ work. Images are used under licence or with credit, and we show the photographer and licence in the caption.
Opinion and analysis
Opinion pieces are labelled and represent the author’s view. They must not be abusive or defamatory.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we correct it quickly and add a note to the article when the change matters. To report an error, email info@alhilal.news.
Use of AI tools
Some of our content is created with the assistance of AI tools. We do not use auto spinning software.
Independence and advertising
Advertising and affiliate links help fund the site. They do not decide what we cover or how we report it. Sponsored content is labelled as such.
